Chariots of mercy foundation is always very careful in choosing partners because we place high regard on the way in which we do ministry.

In addition to our organizational values (see Our Mission & Vision) we have two thoughts on partnering:

ONE,we work hard to enable and equip Kenyans to work. So many times, partners are tempted to jump in and just do the work rather than making the investment to train and empower a local to do the work. Meaningful work brings dignity to people.

TWO we subscribe to many of the ideas found in Brian Fikkert’s book, When Helping Hurts; How to Alleviate Poverty without Hurting the Poor…and yourself.

If you feel you or your organization would make a good partner, please use the form below to tell us a little about yourself, your organization and what you have in mind. When we get your response, we will work to reply in a timely fashion.

As you continue reading and learning more about chariots of mercy’s work in Kenya, we hope that you continue to see the call to discipleship in what we do and how we do it. It is our belief that the Bible defines the act of caring for others in a way that is strengthened by relationships that mirror the discipleship model of Jesus Christ and that is only possible through Jesus Christ himself. There is much yet to do in service to our great God and we are well pleased to serve and work in a way that encourages others toward the way and the truth and the life.

We ask you to join us in prayer over the ways in which we hope discipleship will take root deep in the core of everything we do and every relationship we build. Pray also that the hope for the children and families we serve to become disciples and lifelong followers of Christ would be ever at the forefront of our hearts as we work and serve.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)

So, Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” – Ephesians 4:11-16 (NIV)
